MVP has claimed that Triple H shut down the idea of getting The Hurt Business back together.
The popular faction consisting of Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander ran roughshod over the WWE roster from 2020 to 2022.
The MVP led group formed after he aligned himself with Lashley before adding Benjamin Alexander to the fold. Becoming The Hurt Business elevated all members and saw them capture championships.
Taking to social media MVP reminisced about the faction with a picture of the crew drenched in gold alongside a caption that read:
The world was in chaos. We were in harmony.

The post saw fans, who often questioned the logic behind the group’s demise, ask if they would ever get back together but MVP responded to several questions stating that Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque doesn’t want it.
The interaction read as follows:
Should’ve kept ya’ll together, damn you Vince
MVP: Triple H had the power to fix it. He chose not to. Go figure.
Can we get the hurt business back… ?
MVP: Triple H said no.
As much as I would love to see The Hurt Business back on TV, the only way I’d want it back is if @sheltyb803 is back in the fold. Ain’t the Hurt Business without him. Once he’s back, let’s run it back!
MVP: That’s the only way. The current regime doesn’t want it either.
Can’t believe Vince fucked this up … I assume it was him
MVP: Triple H had the power to fix it.
Vince completely screwed this one up, I’m shocked hhh hasn’t been in favor of bringing it back
MVP: I’m not.
you gotta talk to Hunter, Nick, and William and get the band together with @bobbylashley , @sheltyb803 , and @cedricalexander1
MVP: We did. He said no.
What did Triple H say about another faction, The Wyat Sick6?
On Monday, June 17th, WWE saw the long awaited debut of the Wyatt Sick6. The group made a memorable blood splattered appearance on the show, which saw the aftermath of their destruction of the backstage area.
The group are an ode to Bray Wyatt, who tragically passed away August 25th, 2023, at the age of 36.
In the aftermath of the faction’s debut, Triple H paid tribute to Wyatt, sharing an image depicting a silhouetted figure gazing at a stylised butterfly on a screen.
