IYO SKY and Damage CTRL are trying to recover from her Women’s Championship loss to Bayley on Night Two of WWE WrestleMania 40. Dakota Kai and The Kabuki Warriors also lost in a six-woman tag team match against Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Naomi.

IYO SKY would like to get back into the title picture, while Asuka and Kairi Sane are still the Women’s Tag Team Champions and seem to be starting a feud with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.

However, Dakota Kai, who recently returned from an injury that sidelined her for a few months, appears to have no direction at the moment and it remains to be seen what Triple H will decide, with the WWE Draft less than two weeks away.

The star could get the same kind of run as Dominik Mysterio and could be booked to become a great heel.

Dakota Kai should move to NXT to rejuvenate her career
Dakota Kai was one of the top stars on NXT during her time there. However, she has not been that successful since moving to SmackDown and joining Damage CTRL. The star made a return to the company during SummerSlam 2022 after being released in April of the same year.

With that in mind, it would help her get back on track and find a direction in her career, as WWE has done with many superstars who struggled on RAW and SmackDown, like Dominik Mysterio and Baron Corbin.

The star could feud with several top stars on the NXT brand such as Roxanne Perez, Blair Davenport, and Lyra Valkyria, among others. Dominik Mysterio gained major popularity after moving to NXT and winning the North American Title. The rising star had an entertaining run with the title while gaining much-needed momentum.

Triple H could have Dakota Kai move to NXT but stay with Damage CTRL since it is not likely that the faction will split.

If this happens, she could have a similar treatment to Dominik Mysterio, who appeared on both the main roster and NXT with The Judgment Day and became one of the top heels in WWE.

Dakota Kai could do the same and have an entertaining run both on NXT and the main roster. The star could be traded to NXT during The Draft but could also accompany his stablemates on RAW or SmackDown. She could also take The Kabuki Warriors to the developmental brand and have some epic matches.

Dakota Kai could challenge for championships again after moving to NXT
Dakota Kai could move to NXT during the Draft in the last week of April. If this happens, she will have the chance to compete for championships, which would help elevate her career and create new storylines.

If Kai moved to NXT, she could compete for the NXT Women’s Championship or the Women’s North American Championship, much like what Dominik Mysterio did during his move to the Shawn Michaels-led brand. Kai could add more titles to Damage CTRL by winning the newly introduced Women’s North American Title. This would add more impetus for IYO SKY to go on and regain the Women’s WWE Title and make the group one of the top ones in WWE.
