Triple H Confirms WWE Will Be Uncensored on Netflix

The announcement that Monday Night RAW will be moving to Netflix has created tons of discussions in the pro wrestling world as a lot of changes could take place on the streaming giant. In fact, Triple H has now confirmed that WWE will be uncensored once they shift to Netflix.

It was reported that WWE and Netflix confirmed their huge deal to move Monday Night RAW to the streaming service, which will begin in January 2025. The reported deal, valued at over $5 billion for a duration of ten years, shocked fans all over the world.

While speaking on the Pat McAfee Show, Triple H commented on the unique nature of working with Netflix, highlighting several key points. He noted that Netflix is a completely different environment compared to traditional networks like FOX.

Triple H pointed out that on FOX, if the crowd chants something inappropriate like “Holy s***!” or worse, the network might cut the audio or even display a black screen. In contrast, such issues won’t arise with Netflix, allowing for more freedom in live broadcasts as they will be uncensored.

WWE Netflix Deal Killing Popular Fan Events? - WrestleTalk

”Netflix is a completely different animal, how are commercials gonna work, what’s the length of time, what are restrictions, and what are not restrictions? Right now, just as an example of us being on FOX, if the crowd chants ‘Holy s***!’ or something worse, they just take that audio sometimes they take the picture and audio off, it’s just a black screen. The Rock comes in, you can’t tell The Rock what to do, right? He does what he does.

We won’t have those issues in Netflix, the ability to be live globally, the ability to have everything seen all at once everywhere, it’s a game changing moment.”
