TNA Wrestling star Eric Young has hailed Triple H as a “genius” amidst the burgeoning partnership between TNA and WWE.
The recent collaboration between the two promotions saw TNA stars Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian participate in a 25-man battle royal on the June 18th edition of WWE NXT, vying for the number one contender spot for Trick Williams’ NXT Championship at Heatwave. Additionally, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace made an appearance on the PLE NXT Battleground, challenging Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship.
In an interview with Zack Heydorn of Brass Ring Media, former TNA World Champion Eric Young expressed his admiration for the WWE and TNA partnership, particularly praising Triple H. Young emphasised:
The biggest thing is Hunter is a genius. It’s the reason the WWE is as good as it is right now is because of him. It starts with him and ends with him. It’s obviously not one person.
He further highlighted the wealth of talent involved in the partnership, drawing parallels with AEW and TNA, while expressing optimism about the potential developments stemming from this collaboration.
