Known as the Super Bowl of Fashion, the Met Gala 2023 is set to arrive in full force in New York City.

The event is held in New York City, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and it’s a formal sit down dinner. The Met Gala is the most exclusive invitation in Fashion, that is chaired by none other than Anna Wintour of Vogue. Anna in fact hand selects every single guest invited to the Met Gala.
This year, the dress code of the Met Gala 2023 is “In Honor of Karl”, as a tribute to late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. As a guest of the Met Gala, you get to see the first look at the fashion exhibit, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty”. The exhibit will have over 150 classic looks from the late designer.
Karl Lagerfeld worked with storied design houses throughout this career, including Chanel, Balmain and Chloe, just to name a few. We bet that there will be stunning archives from his collections on the celebs in attendance.

First, there’s The Mark Hotel, which is a favorite of Victoria and David Beckham. Although the Mark Hotel is just a few blocks away from the Met, don’t expect to see celebrities on foot. They’ll arrive by chauffeured car for their grand staircase entrance. New on the scene for the Met Gala this year is Aman NYC, which is only open to hotel guests and members of the exclusive Aman Club. Celebrities also get dressed by designers at the Pierre hotel, where you could get a glimpse of stars like Anne Hathaway at past galas.
