In recent weeks, Liv Morgan has been spotted in the background of various backstage segments with Dominik Mysterio.

This new approach to storytelling has been prevalent in the Triple H era and never fails to get fans talking.

Morgan was responsible for injuring Rhea Ripley, leaving The Judgement Day member with no other choice than to relinquish the Women’s World Championship.

The faction has since struggled to get along, something which was evident from last night’s RAW.

The show started with World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest being confronted by King of the Ring, Gunther, his Clash at the Castle opponent Drew McIntyre, and Braun Strowman.

The latter spent most of the show pursuing JD McDonagh, while we’d later learn that the group is unhappy with Mysterio for “accidentally” helping Morgan defeat Becky Lynch for the title at King and Queen of the Ring this past Saturday.

Priest later made a statement when he took out Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio before staring down Finn Balor and Carlito.

It’s beginning to feel like the champ no longer needs or wants them around.

In the main event, Lynch got her title rematch inside a Steel Cage.

It was a pretty back-and-forth contest, but when “The Man” gained the advantage, Dominik made his way to the ring.

He opened the door of the cage in an apparent bid to help Lynch, only to be confronted by an angry Balor and McDonagh.

Their presence brought out Strowman who chased the heels down before sending Mysterio flying into the cage door…which rebounded off Lynch’s head!

With that, Morgan was able to escape and retain her newly won title.

However, as RAW was going off the air, Morgan walked up to a seemingly angry Dominik and kissed him!

It’s hard to predict where this story is going and, honestly, that’s proving to be part of the fun…
