Despite not being formally listed on RAW, The American Nightmare saw it coming from the graphic right after his title victory. That said, it begs one crucial question: Did he like where he planted at all? The star cryptically answered with a little sigh.

Cody Rhodes is now the permanent pick of the blue brand, implying he will be there on the brand even if loses the title going forward. While scrutinizing his current brand position, the 38-year-old expressed little regret for not having some more time on RAW.

Ahead of his title defense against AJ Styles at Backlash, The American Nightmare sat for a media call alongside Triple H. Slightly frowning at the draft decision, Rhodes noted, ”You know my Raw exit kind of happened quicker than perhaps I was ready for it to happen and maybe that’s the best. The draft is what it is, the rules are set. I am a SmackDown guy but the idea, he actually hilariously opened the door to his room as I was answering the question.”

The star he was talking about was Jey Uso, with whom he had a stupendous RAW tenure and wants to have more time if given a chance.
