Former WWE Head Writer Vince Russo believes Vince McMahon might have had a problem with Triple H if the latter truly cheated on Stephanie McMahon.

The Game married the former Chairman’s daughter in 2003. The couple have been together for 21 years and have three daughters together. However, Russo believes the two might not have been completely faithful in their relationship.

The wrestling veteran addressed how Vince McMahon’s relationship with the current Chief Content Officer might have been affected if Triple H was truly unfaithful to his wife. Given McMahon’s closeness to his daughter, any possible indiscretion on Triple H’s part was bound to have an effect on Vince.

“So, bro, if there was some infidelity going on, Vince probably had an issue with Triple H. Bro, listen, Stephanie McMahon was a daddy’s girl. There’s absolutely positively no bones about that. I witnessed that with my own two eyes,” he said. [7:52 – 8:15]
Russo added that any breakdown in the relationship between her father and husband was bound to put Stephanie in a terrible situation, with her getting caught in the middle of it.

“From what I understand, there may have been infidelity on both parts. If there was infidelity involved, then at that point Triple H was probably in Vince McMahon’s dog house. Now, bro, this would have put Stephanie, and, bro, again this is all speculation, this would have put Stephanie in a very vicarious position, bro, because now she’s between her husband and she’s between her old man and she’s stuck in the middle with you. Yes, bro, she’s stuck in the middle,” he stated.

Triple H took over WWE Creative following Vince McMahon’s retirement
After spending over a decade and a half as an active in-ring competitor, Triple H transitioned into a backstage executive. He held several positions, including Executive Senior Advisor, Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Vice-President of Talent, Live Events, & Creative.

In 2022, The Game assumed the position of Chief Content Officer after Vince McMahon’s initial retirement from WWE. He has since been leading the Stamford-based company’s creative process.

Stephanie McMahon returned earlier this month to kick off Night Two of WWE WrestleManiaXL. She stated that although she attended all previous editions of the extravaganza, however, this year’s Show of Shows was the one she was “most proud of” because it was the first of the “Paul Levesque Era.”
