With Vince McMahon well and truly out of WWE, he can no longer hold Triple H back from making some much needed changes to the company.
Whether it be on-screen or backstage, it’s a pretty much universally accepted opinion that not only are they changes, but they’re improvements.
But what exactly are the changes Triple H has made? Here’s a look at seven of them.
7. WWE IS ‘PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING’, NOT ‘SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT’

One of Vince McMahon’s quirks – of which there were many – was his defiance over the use of certain phrases, often for no good reason other than he felt like it.
There were many, many examples of this, but one of the most infamous was the use of ‘sports entertainment’ and ‘sports entertainers’ instead of ‘pro-wrestling’ or ‘pro-wrestlers’.
If you’ve seen any WWE programming this year, you’ll have noticed the change, but if you needed it ‘confirmed’, Luke Gallows did so on a recent podcast and said the wrestlers can now call themselves, well, wrestlers. Do you see how silly it sounds that they weren’t allowed to do that before?
As mentioned, there are plenty of other examples as well. If someone called a championship belt a “belt” instead of a “championship”, Triple H is not going to get as mad as Vince McMahon potentially would have.
