Damian Priest’s Emotional Words To Triple H Leaked After Winning World Championship at WrestleMania XL

Damian Priest pulled a Seth Rollins on Drew McIntyre tonight on Night #2 of WrestleMania XL. No one could have expected Priest to cash in his Money in The Bank contract after McIntyre pinned Rollins. After holding the briefcase since 2023, Priest cashed in at the right moment and stole the gold for the Judgment day. So, what did he have to say to Triple H?

Priest’s win of the title at Mania XL marks the start of his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship reign. However, Priest and The Judgment Day will now have to face McIntyre.

Damian Priest thanks Triple H for the opportunity

As Priest returned backstage, Hunter embraced him. A grateful priest whispered, “Thank you for believing in me.” This was a backstage video taken by a member of the crew and posted online by Hunter himself. The video was captioned as the biggest moment in Priest’s career. Not only did Priest win his first major title, but he also ended by breaking a 50-year-old record in the process. Now he and Rhea Ripley have the only titles in the Judgment Day.

However, Priest has CM Punk to thank for this win. After winning the title of Rollins, McIntyre took to gloat in front of Punk. Seeing this as his opportunity for what the Scottish Warrior did to him at the Royal Rumble, Punk attacked McIntyre, resulting in Priest coming out to cash in.

Fans have been speculating and mocking Priest for months now since he did not successfully cash in his MITB case. This was the last time Priest could’ve made a successful cash-in, and he did. From the looks of things and what Priest told Triple H, maybe this was his plan all along. However, the road ahead for Priest won’t be easy.

Damian Priest will have to face Drew McIntyre and CM Punk now
Since Priest is the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he will be the target of a return Punk. While not cleared medically, once Punk is, he will resume his hunt for the title. Along with Punk, Priest will also have to face the wrath of McIntyre.

The unhinged Scottish Warrior has proved to be the worst person to have against you while Rollins was the champion. Not only did he run interference in Rollins’ matches, but he also did whatever he could to hurt Rollins. Now, Priest will have to deal with that. What do you think about what Priest said to Hunter? Was it the right thing to do? Tell us in the comments.
