Stephanie McMahon couldn’t be more proud of her husband and WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H when she made her surprise return to WWE at WrestleMania 40. Before the matches kicked off during night two of the biggest wrestling event, McMahon came to the ring and announced that she was proud of this year’s WrestleMania in particular. She dubbed it the first event of the “Paul Levesque era”.

Triple H later shared a BTS photo of them together with a single-word response showing what she meant to him. He wrote “Forever” in his caption, making WWE fans emotional and happy about the love and support in this wrestling family.

Triple H’s One-Word Response To Wife Stephanie McMahon’s WrestleMania Appearance

Stephanie McMahon, the daughter of former WWE boss Vince McMahon and wife of Triple H, was a regular presence in the WWE a few years back. In recent years, she took on a more administrative role in the company before she resigned from the company in January 2023. However, she did not fail to make her regular WrestleMania appearance at this year’s event held at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Center.

She took to the ring before kicking off things for night two of the event. McMahon added a tribute to her husband Triple H when she called WrestleMania 40 the first in the Paul Levesque era. She then hyped up the crowd with Levesque’s usual call to the audience, “Are you ready?”.

McMahon’s surprising return to WWE and her proud words about her husband already won over fans on social media. However, it was Triple H’s one-word response to this gesture from his wife that made fans emotional. Levesque took to Instagram to share an emotional photo of the couple hugging backstage after Stephanie McMahon’s appearance.

The WWE CCO captioned the picture with the word, “Forever”, which perfectly summarized the relationship between the wrestling couple. McMahon and Levesque began dating in 2000 during their scripted romance in WWE. They married in 2003 and share three beautiful daughters – Aurora Rose, Murphy Claire, and Vaughn Evelyn.

WWE Fans Are Emotional Over Triple H’s One-Word Response

WWE fans reacted emotionally to Triple H’s post after Stephanie McMahon’s WrestleMania appearance. One Instagram fan wrote, @r.h.sin, “Get you someone who still cheers you on through the years. Steph has always maintained that energy and then some.” Another fan, @njsamps, called the wrestling power couple, “THE KING AND QUEEN 👑👑”.

@erineileenj608 expressed their excitement about McMahon’s return to the WWE, sharing, “So happy to see Steph tonight! It’s great to be a wrestling fan!” Another fan, @mattfraser9, shared, “What a great moment this is.” Many fans also wanted to know whether McMahon would return to her executive role in the WWE.

However, it is highly unlikely for the wrestler to return to an executive role anytime soon, especially after the allegations against her father Vince McMahon. The older McMahon resigned from the company recently after he was accused of s*xual assault and s*x trafficking by a former WWE employee Janel Grant in January 2024.
