Snoop Dogg has been a hot topic during the Summer Olympics, and for that, he’s dubbed himself the champion.

During a Wednesday broadcast of the athletic competition, which spans from July 26 to Aug. 11, the rap legend had a quick side conversation with NBC’s Mike Tirico.

“Man, this is a grind out here,” Snoop told Tirico. “But I’m having so much fun.”

He continued, “Mike, I may be the MVP of the Olympics, just saying.”

But the 52-year-old wouldn’t be wrong, as he’s done nearly everything except compete during the Olympics. Snoop had the chance to walk the Olympic torch through the streets of Paris ahead of the opening ceremony, where he stopped for a quick dance to his 1993 single, “Who Am I (What’s My Name?).”

The rapper also made amends with Nellie Biles, the mother of gymnast Simone Biles, who joked during a quick NBC chat that Snoop once snubbed her during a 2010 photo-op.

The Boss Dogg even had some swim time with former athlete Michael Phelps, whom he tested his “lung power” with during a “synchronized swimming” session.

But the possibly the best moments of his time in Paris have been spent with his granddaughter, whom his second son, Cordell Broadus, and his wife, Phia Barragan, brought to the City of Lights to support Papa Snoop.

We’ll watch out for more Olympic updates from Snoop, but he probably isn’t giving up the MVP declaration.
